On the 6th February 2024 Quality Environmental Services Ltd (QES) was acquired by Environmental Essentials Limited and, following an interim period, QES successfully integrated into EE from the 1st October 2024.
“The acquisition of QES makes perfect sense for Environmental Essentials. Water hygiene, air hygiene, and asbestos management are three major areas of compliance and highly complementary from a business perspective. By incorporating the wealth of expertise and capabilities of QES into our business, we can diversify our offering and gain national coverage for our water hygiene services” Richard Powner.

Moving forward….
After a handover period the previous owners, Dave Beatson and Tim Jones, have left the business and we thank them for their support and professionalism. The management team remain with the business and are excited to continue their journey and progression with EE. Aaron Brown (Air Hygiene) and Adam Mortimer (Water Hygiene), supported by their colleagues from QES and now onboarded with EE, will continue to service QES clients and ensure continuity of both service and valued client relationships.
The deal provides an opportunity to offer our collective clients a wider service offering and for leadership to utilise and adapt the best working practices and shared knowledge. The group now offers a range of services in Asbestos Management, Air and Water Hygiene and Treatment, Health & Safety consultancy and Training services associated with all these related disciplines.

“We have already experienced the benefit of collaboration in the short time we have worked within the extended group, such as the implementation of workflow systems and production of management information, which will enhance customer service. I am particularly excited to launch some of the data capture systems in development and demonstrate these to my clients in the coming months”
